• Background Work: Su, a valuable member of the Kai XR team, brings a diverse background and a passion for creating engaging learning experiences. Born in Korea, she immigrated during elementary school and has since called various cities in 11 states her home. For Su, home is wherever she finds herself in the present moment.

  Although Su initially didn't envision a career in education, she counts her blessing on encountering empathetic and creative teachers who advocated for her to experiment, fail, and discover her love for learning. Through their support, she recognized her innate curiosity as a strength.
  
  Su's enthusiasm for creating experiences and fostering community shines through in her past and current roles. As part of the Kai XR team, Su's unique background and dedication to empowering learners contribute to developing innovative and engaging educational experiences. Her experiences testify to the transformative power of compassionate and inventive teaching methods, which she brings to the forefront in her contributions to the Kai XR mission.

• Current Work At Kai XR: As a vital member of the Kai XR team, Su excels as a scaffolding builder, empowering those around her to reach their full potential. Her day-to-day work varies depending on the team and project she leads and supports. However, she's guided constantly by her passion for creating an environment where learning, experimentation, and imagination thrive.
  
  While Su acknowledges the challenges and setbacks, she remains driven by work that taps into her sense of curiosity, mission, and community.
  
  In her current role, Su finds joy in expanding the minds of young learners and teachers, pushing the boundaries of what they believe is possible.
  
  Furthermore, she is excited about establishing meaningful relationships with schools and partners nationwide in places she once called home. • Personal Mission Statement: To describe her work and life in a word, “Coddiwomple (to travel purposefully toward an as-yet-unknown destination),” feels fitting.
  
  The destination isn’t always certain, but she wants to travel it purposefully while on the journey.
  
  There are days of uncertainty in the life of an ed-tech mission-driven company. But the way Kai XR is intentional in how we build in putting students first, and the trust of knowing everyone on the team thinks and decides this way – She’s optimistic daily about our impact on our communities and the students and teachers we encounter.
